t043 TP/TPUW
Rain gauge Transducer, 500/1000 cm² funnel area
TP/TPUW rain gauges are very performant and reliable sensors for the measurement of both rainfall intensity and amount. The measuring principle is based on a tipping buckets mechanism, thoroughly designed in order to achieve very high standards of accuracy in the whole range, minimizing friction during the oscillating action of the bucket.
The TPUW version is equipped with an electronic correction system to compensate the error caused by the tilting-pan measurement technology, ensuring high levels of functioning even at heavy rainfalls. The measurement correction is provided as a function of the rain intensity.
Different types of outputs are available, from digital sources such as RS485-Modbus and SDI-12, to analogic in 4 ÷ 20 mA and 0÷2 V. The rain gauge is supplied with power and signal cable (12m).
