Its basic functions are data acquisition and transfer via the public telephone network (xG). The device can be programmed both for recording the data exchanged on the serial ports, as well as commands for interfacing with intelligent systems and sensors can be implemented, subject to the availability of the relative documentation or the use of standard protocols (MODBUS and SDI -12). The device is able to power (ON/OFF) external equipment at a voltage of 5 or 12 Vdc. NanoSUM is equipped with two digital inputs to which a sensor with pulse output can be connected (e.g.: rain gauge). The device is also equipped with two digital outputs for enabling external power sources.

e018 DA18K
Data Acquisition and Transmission System
The DA18K datalogger, designed for environmental and meteorological-hydrological monitoring systems, is able to directly acquire sensors, analyzers, chemical-physical probes, actuators, and many other devices through a wide variety of analog and digital interfaces. Through the serial and LAN ports it is possible to directly interconnect various communication systems such as free or licensed band radiomodems (UHF, VHF, HF, SRD,…other), GPRS, UMTS, LTE modems, routers, satellite devices (Iridium, Inmarsat, Meteosat, Goes,..other) or wired lines for remote connection.
A cutting-edge datalogger with very low consumption, produced in Italy, native with Modbus RTU communication protocol and Windows CE operating system. The DA18K is an extremely precise, robust and highly durable device, which can be installed at any latitude, longitude and weather condition, from -40 °C to +80 °C, from African deserts to the Amazon forest.
The DA18K was designed as an independent module, open and usable in all application areas even other than meteorology and hydrology. For this reason, in addition to the DAK programming wizard software supplied together with the datalogger, the possibility of programming customized functions has been provided, using available and open libraries, and functions and/or procedures that allow interoperability with third-party systems.
The high number of interface ports makes it very flexible and modular both towards interconnection to sensors in the field and towards communication systems or high-level interfaces (for example: PLC, PC).

e020 MicroSUM
Data Acquisition and Transmission System
MicroSUM is a compact acquisition unit for environmental and meteo-climate monitoring stations, and it can directly manage at the same time weather sensors, analyzers, chemical-physical probes and other devices thanks to its analog, digital and pulse electrical outputs. Its main feautures are the ease of use and configuration, as well as the efficiency of data management. It is at the same time a very versatile device, being MicroSUM a very perfomant and suitable datalogger for every kind of meteorological application. It has been designed to match the most various needs of data acquisition, processing and transmission, from the simplest ones related to single weather stations, to the most complex concerning monitoring networks managed by remote control centers. The very low power consumption represents another relevant outstanding feature, making it particularly suitable for applications in harsh environments with reduced insolation. Furthermore, an open source FreeRTOS operating system makes the device very easy to programme. MicroSUM is extremely compact and terminal blocks are incorporated in a single element, allowing all the sensors connections to be very easy to handle, along with the power supply battery charger. The display is equipped with a Joystick to facilitate the data acquisition management. MicroSUM can be provided also in the LTE version (UMTS/LTE modem incorporated), thus reducing the energy consumption and at the same time offering a more affordable device, being the two products integrated in a single one. It is possible to connect additional communication devices such as UHF radios, satellite or short-range radios in free band, and this option is available for both versions of MicroSUM.

e021 MegaSUM
